The Flysch between Deba and Zumaia is one of the most impressive geological landscapes in Europe.
You can access several walking routes directly from the campsite.
Flysch from the sea: one of the most spectacular ways to admire the cliffs is by boat, sailing beneath huge vertical rock walls and discovering sea caves that cannot be reached on foot.

Closely together of the Itxaspe Camping they are the caves of Ekain (to less than 10kms), with most important paleolithic equestrian paintings of Europe. You will live a new experience in Ekainberri. By hours you will feel like that one human group that created the wonderful paintings of Ekain and lived in this same place during the Magdaleniense. You will enter they world and cave, you will create drawings using the same techniques and materials that they, you will enjoy their way to hunt or if you prefer you will be able to make fire in the way they did. At first sight, what makes the Geopark stand out is the harmony of the various tones of green of its meadows and forests that follow one after the other from the coastline and extend inland.
One of the best waves in the Bay of Biscay. In a few kilometers, we can find a big amount of waves with an excellent (unbeatable) quality and for surfers with every level. The beaches Santiago and Lapari are extraordinary to start surfing.
Based on traditional cuisine offering fish, meat and local vegetables cooked with great care and professionalism. To accompany all this, we will have the chance to taste our Txakoli or the local cider.
Located in the centre of the Basque coast, Deba offers the visitor the stillness of Mendata, Aitzuri and Sakoneta coves and beautiful beaches: Santiago and Lapari. We find different promenades next to them: paseo de Sorozabal, Paseo de Cárdenas and Paseo de Arrantzales that lead us, along the river, to the nautical port.
